Monthly Meetings
The Monthly meeting of the Amateur Beekeepers Association – Central Coast is held on the fourth Wednesday of each month (except January). All monthly meetings are held at Erina Trust Community Hall on the corner of Karalta Road and Ilya Avenue, Erina, immediately behind the Fountain Plaza shopping centre.
Meetings follow a regular format:
· 6:00pm Beginning in Bees: This is a series of three 45minute sessions offered month to month to inform new and aspiring beekeepers of the basics of beekeeping. The sessions are as follows:
o Beginning in Bees 101. An Introduction to hive and bee basics
o Beginning in Bees 102. The beekeeper’s toolkit.
o Beginning in Bees 103. The life cycle of a bee.
· 7:00pm General meeting, reports and club updates.
· 7:30pm Break - tea/coffee and eats.
· 8:00pm Education session.
Next Meeting
The next Central Coast Amateur Beekeepers meeting is Wednesday 27th November 2024, at the Erina Trust Hall, 27 Karalta Road, Erina 2250, commencing at 7pm.
Our beginning in Bees session commences prior to the meeting at 6.00pm.
